Honest World Review

Editorial policy

Honest World Review aims to make consumer information clear, proportionate and independent. We distinguish explanation from opinion, show the limits of what we can establish, and correct material errors openly.

Accuracy and scope

We check factual statements against appropriate available information and take care not to present advertising language as evidence. When a point is uncertain, depends on a particular product or cannot be established from the information at hand, we say so. Our articles are general information, not safety, legal, medical or financial advice.

Independence and interests

Editorial decisions are made on the merits of the subject and the reader's need to understand it. Any relevant commercial relationship is disclosed where it appears; a partnership does not guarantee favourable coverage or editorial approval.

Corrections

Readers can report a possible error through the Contact page. We review the issue, correct substantiated mistakes and make material changes clear in the article where appropriate. We do not alter a conclusion simply because it is unpopular.

Partner material and illustrations

Paid or partner material is clearly labelled at the point of presentation and kept distinct from independent editorial work. Some illustrations may be generated with AI; where this applies, the image is identified as AI-generated and is not presented as documentary evidence.
